Overview

Led the development of a Sales Focus Automation system that put SAP B1 data directly into the hands of field sales reps. Integrating ASP.NET MVC/Core, ADO.NET, Android Studio, and MS SQL with SAP B1, I built a mobile app that lets reps access customer and sales information on the go, with real-time synchronisation through the SAP B1 Service Layer so head office always saw the latest activity and stock.

The challenge

Sales reps in the field had no quick way to reach SAP-integrated customer and sales data, and managers lacked real-time visibility into what was happening on the ground.

My approach

I led the build of a mobile app integrated with SAP B1 via the Service Layer, syncing customer, sales, and inventory data in real time between the field and the back office.

The outcome

Reps could work anywhere with accurate, up-to-date data, and managers gained live insight into sales activity and inventory — making the whole sales process more agile.
