Payroll HRM & Tax Solution

Overview

A key contributor on an enterprise payroll, HRM, and tax platform built for a large-scale organisation of over 100,000 employees. I helped engineer a responsive React front end on top of a .NET Core Web API, backed by MS SQL and ETL/SSIS pipelines that moved and transformed huge volumes of payroll data. Working in an Agile team, I collaborated closely with the tax specialists to make sure every calculation and report met compliance requirements.

The challenge

Running payroll, HR, and tax for a workforce of 100,000+ demands absolute accuracy, strict compliance, and the ability to process enormous volumes of data without slowing down.

My approach

I helped build a responsive React UI over a .NET Core Web API — using EF Core, Dapper, and the Mediator pattern — with ETL/SSIS pipelines handling large-scale data processing and Azure services in support.
